China buys iron ore from Australia despite suspension
Rio Tinto Group and BHP Billiton Ltd have sold iron ore to Chinese steelmakers on the spot, or cash, market, this year despite an informal suspension on import licenses, Bloomberg reported, citing a Merrill Lynch report released Tuesday.
