Canadian Solar, Real Goods Solar Sign 40MW Deal
Canadian Solar Inc (Nasdaq: CSIQ), a leading Chinese solar panel maker, said it will supply up to 40MW of high-performance solar modules to US-based Real Goods Solar Inc (Nasdaq: RSOL) to power its commercial and residential installations in the US, without disclosing financial details or a timeframe.
Conch Cement Takes 19.9% Stake in Xinjiang Qingsong
Anhui Conch Cement Co (SHA: 600585, HKG: 0914), China's biggest cement producer by output, said it has bought 19.9% of Xinjiang Qingsong Building Materials and Chemicals Group Co (SHA: 600425). Conch Cement will help Qingsong explore the cement market as well as exploit coal, oil and gas resources in Xinjiang.
Xinjiang Goldwind Invests in Wind Farm Fund
Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co (SHE: 002202, HKG: 2208), China's second largest wind turbine maker, said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Beijing Tianrun New Energy Investment Corp, plans to spend ¥500 million investing in Jida (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund. Jida, which oversees ¥5 billion, principally develops and acquires wind farm.
