CITS Head Office president Zhang Jianhua
said that over the next three years, the travel agency will open an additional
3000 offices across the country, The
Beijing News reports. Three hundred of these will be in Beijing. Zhang also said that CITS will use
the strategic partnership it signed with TravelSky Technology to upgrade its
electronic service platform. CITS, said Zhang, will focus on Chinese travelers
going overseas, international travelers coming to China, and domestic travel rather
than pursuing a selection of services centered on online ticketing and hotel
reservation like other travel agencies are currently doing.
