New World boosts funds for mainland acquisitions

New World Department Store China (0825.HK) said Tuesday it will boost the funds it has available for acquiring department store operators, retailers and properties on the mainland from US$76.98 million (HK$600 million) to US$1.17 billion (HK$9.1 billion), China Business News reported.
