SAP aims to quadruple China revenue by 2010
Corporate software provider SAP expects its revenue in China to grow 30% annually until 2010, which will quadruple its 2005 revenue, the Shanghai Business Journal reported. China is the company’s fastest-growing market across the globe. SAP will also step up its China research and development to cement and grow its local market share. The Germany-based company’s research lab in Shanghai’s Pudong district, responsible for designing products for small- and medium-sized clients, will increase its staff from between 2,000 and 3,000 now to around 20,000 by 2010. SAP offers its own platforms to partners to develop and provide products and services.
