CHINA GDP

China's GDP, the world's second largest, amounted to RM51.93 trillion in 2012, up 7.8% from the year before, the slowest pace in 13 years. Output from the agricultural sector was RMB5.24 trillion (10.1% of GDP); output from the manufacturing sector was RMB23.53 trillion (45.3% of GDP); output from the service sector was RMB23.16 trillion (44.6% of GDP). Per capita GDP was around $5,400 in 2011 ranking around 90th worldwide, according to different organizations.

If measured in purchasing power parity, China's GDP was worth around $11.3 trillion, or 75% of that of the United States.
